After a fantastic 2018 Brighton Bulldogs will be expanding its canteen to operate a minimum of 5 days a week from the start of the season in 2019; with options to increase the opening hours on top of that.
This will require an experienced Food and Beverage Coordinator to come on board to oversee all aspects of the operation.

As this role is a newly created position we would like to take expressions of interest from suitable candidates.

The canteen is well appointed with a variety of cooking equipment, ample fridge and preparation space, lots of cooking implements and decent storage for dry and wet goods. The canteen has a coffee machine, a liquor licence and can operate 7 days a week if demand requires.

Other important factors to note -

- football season runs from March to September
- five a side comp runs September to November
- the club close down over December and January
- training starts up early February
- Friday night games for our senior and overs teams
- currently over 520 players across all ages from U6 to over 45
- the club has a large section of willing and helpful volunteers to help with busy periods
- the club runs various school holiday programs, with the aim of increasing these over time
- end of year Gala Day sees approx 1000 people at the club throughout the day
- great space for birthday parties or other one of events
- kids playground at the clubhouse and public dog park next door
- ample off street parking to open as a coffee shop during the day

In preparation for next year the club will be investing capitol into the canteen with a new POS system, furniture, new paint and general beatification of the area.

The opportunity for the right candidate to realise all these opportunities and maximise all that the club has to offer is one not to be missed. We want to incentivise the successful person to ensure that we are constantly evolving our offering, delivering fantastic service, great healthy food and creating an atmosphere that makes visiting our club one to remember.

This is a paid role on a contract basis with incentives based on turnover and growth. If you think this role is designed specifically for you then please send a CV and a few short paragraphs about yourself, and any questions or thoughts to

Wanted: Coach for the Brighton Bulldogs Over 30's Women's Team

The Brighton Bulldogs have a proud history in women's football dating back to the formation of the club in the late 1960's.  The club has had women's only teams since the 1970's.  The over 30's women's team will be playing in their sixth year in a social, North Brisbane over 30's football competition.

We train Tuesday nights from 7-8pm and play mostly Friday nights.  Our season is due to commence in mid-March and we start training in the first week of February.  We have a great group of ladies who are looking to improve our football skills and develop as a team.  We are looking for a coach who would be able to attend training and games and develop our team in a gentle and supportive fashion.

If interested, please email (kmanton@gmail.com). This is a volunteer position and would be sufficient for your club volunteer levy commitment.

Kerry Manton (Manager, Over 30's Women's).
